这是一栋鹅黄色外墙的民国建筑物，在喧闹的老城区里特别显眼，原来是中山大学校本部的旧址，是鲁迅先生曾经工作过的地方。当走进纪念馆，我们可以看到这里的家具摆设非常简朴。二楼是鲁迅先生曾经居住的卧室，首先映入眼帘的是：床是用两条板凳支起的两块木板，一顶因年代久远而泛黄的麻布蚊帐用竹竿撑着，床上放着白布枕头和蓝花布面的被子，十分整洁、朴素。其次，靠近窗户的地方放着一张很多抽屉的书桌。书桌已经磨损得看不清是红色还是黄色。书桌旁边还放着一个藤书架，上面摆满了用线装订好的书本。这作文些都是鲁迅先生使用过的物品。
