这个寒假，我读了一本非常有意思的书——《柳林风声》。书中人物的生活经历给了我很大的启示，让我记忆深刻。

这本书讲的是这样一个故事：一只厌倦了地下生活的鼹鼠来到地面，与河鼠、蟾蜍、水獭、獾等动物成为了朋友。蟾蜍追求时髦，挥金如土，后来因为偷车进了监狱，逃出去后却发现自己的家被别人占领了。于是四个朋友一起夺回了家园。

这个故事既有趣，又能告诉我很多道理。书中的蟾蜍是个有钱人，父亲留给他很多钱，而他却骄傲自大，追求时髦，挥金如土，最后因为偷车被关进了阴森森、臭烘烘的监狱。读了这一章，我懂得了一个道理，一个人不能太贪心，太追求时髦。如果过于追求表面上的虚荣，可能反而会失去自己原有的自由和快乐。到那时候，后悔都来不及了。
