In the winter, crepuscular time, cold wind is biting. A woodpecker flies into kingly palace. “ kingly Majesty, she follows ” pitifully king says, “ weather is too cold, a few days can I live with be in your palace? Fierce Babade says ” king: “ is not OK, boil! ”
冬天，黄昏时分，寒风刺骨。一只啄木鸟飞进了国王的宫殿。“国王陛下，”她可怜地跟国王说，“天气太寒冷了，我可不可以在您的宫殿里住几天？”国王凶巴巴地说：“不可以，滚！”
Woodpecker flew away so sadly. Spring arrived, king got heavy disease, the doctor says to king: Your disease gets “ to be cured by the woodpecker ability that a kind of meeting talks. ” one's voice in speech just fell, king remembered it met that woodpecker —— in the winter last year speech! Then, king called up a soldier, the composition goes catching that woodpecker.
啄木鸟就这样伤心地飞走了。春天到了，国王得了重病，医生对国王说：“您的病得由一种会说话的啄木鸟才能治好。”话音刚落，国王就想起了去年冬天那只啄木鸟——它会讲话！于是，国王便叫来了士兵，作文去捕捉那只啄木鸟。
Right now woodpecker lies in tree hole, find it without the person, cold wind freezes to death it already. Kingly disease cannot get cure, so gone.
此时的啄木鸟躺在树洞里，没有人找到它，寒风早已将它冻死。国王的病得不到医治，就这样死去了。
It is a year of winter, palace flew again a woodpecker, prince did not resemble king euqally cruel-hearted, feed her to have a thing instead, accompany her play, chat with her.
又是一年冬天，皇宫又飞来了一只啄木鸟，王子没有像国王一样狠心，反而喂她吃东西，陪她玩耍，跟她聊天。
Later, prince becomes new king. New king is immortal not old, because that woodpecker is the goddess of life! To repay kind-hearted new king, she bestowed with her superhuman strength life of new kingly ageless!
后来，王子成为新的国王。新国王长生不老，因为那只啄木鸟是生命的女神！为了报答善良的新国王，她用自己的神力赐予了新国王不老的生命！(文/黄昱铭)
