进了大门，我们沿着小路往前走，就能看见整个公园最引人瞩目的是“鬼脸城”。为什么它叫鬼脸城呢？因为城墙上凸起的一块石头经过长时间的风化，变得酷似一张面目狰狞的鬼脸。相传在三国时期，魏军偷袭东吴，当大军杀奔途中，望见鬼脸城上有一张鬼脸，吓得落荒而逃，因此说是这块巨石立下了汗马功劳也不为过。在鬼脸城对面，有一面镜子湖，他可以倒映出鬼城墙上的鬼脸，因此又衍生出另一著名景致“鬼脸照镜子”。

我们接着往前走，就来到了龟石群。龟石群经过长江水常年累月的冲刷，远看就像一只大乌龟卧在地上。这一群石头凹凸不平，有的又大又圆，有的又小又尖；有的粗糙，有的光滑……作文真是千奇百怪，令人赞叹不已。古时候，这里还曾是一片江滩，如今已成了一群石头，真是沧海桑田，岁月如梭呀！

我们沿着城墙继续往前走，我惊奇地发现城墙上大多数砖头都刻着制砖人的名字，据说这是当时为了让制砖的人保证质量而形成的一种规则，哪块砖有问题一看名字就知道了。向城墙上望去，我发现许多藤条扎根于石缝中。这些藤条生命力真顽强啊！在这么恶劣的环境下还能茁壮成长，让我由衷地敬佩。再往前走就是码头和清凉门了，清凉门的城门又宽又大，能同时走过五匹马。
