快到山顶上的那段路非常陡，非常难爬，我四肢并用，还差点摔了一跤。终于看到了山顶，我鼓足一口气，头也不回地往山上爬。终于登顶了，晚风拂面而来，吹干了我脸上的汗，格外的凉快，此时月牙泉和月泉阁已经全部出现在我的眼前。橙红的太阳只剩下一小点了，我静静地看着太阳一点点地落下，又过了一会儿，太阳看不见了，只剩下山后面的金光映照着天空。这时，月牙泉边的灯，月泉阁上的灯全亮了。落日的余晖洒在月泉阁塔顶上，也洒在月牙泉上，一切都是金色的，天上的云，是金色的；鸣沙山，是金色的；月牙泉的水，是金色的。渐渐地，太阳的余晖看不见了，月牙泉四周的灯更亮了，那些蓝色的灯光给月牙泉镶了一道边，让月牙泉的轮廓变得一清二楚，它就这样静静地躺在沙漠的怀抱里，是那么的恬美。月牙泉的上空，无数小星星隐隐闪现，让这黑色的夜空有了灵动之美。
